New boot device

MrHappyTroll

Hey so I just fresh installed Windows 10 pro into a new SSD that I got, now I need some help, how do I transfer ALL of my files from my old C: drive to my new SSD I want to just use the data migration, but I would need to uninstall Windows before I could do that otherwise it would mess up the migration. My only concern is if I uninstall Windows on my old HDD wont I lose ALL my files off of it? Like all my downloaded games and all the files I had on my desktop?

There's no one-click way to transfer windows to a new drive.

You should reinstall windows on the new drive, which you've done.

Now just reinstall your programs (from their respective sites), transfer saves files and documents from your old HDD manually, then wipe the old drive to use it as storage.
