Case fan filer/mesh is very noisy, what alternatives?

I'm using a Silverstone fan 120mm fan at the bottom of my case. The fan itself is dead quiet, but the air it sucks moving through the mesh and fan filter is very loud. What can I do about this? o.O

I have never heard of this issue. What brand/model filter are you using? I'm using Silverstone 140mm and there is literally zero difference with them on or not. Perhaps try a different brand?

PS: When you get silent fans, you realize that there is always some noise from the air moving in. You can't avoid that, the higher the rpm the more air rushing in so it will be heard no matter what. Depending on the blade design this can be avoided to a certain degree, but never completely.

Im using Silverstone 120mm fans with Silverstone fan mesh that comes with the case Redline 01. I noticed if the fan place has Circle mesh, it would make loud noise, its much quieter with a honeycomb mesh
