Hi, I'm sort of new till the pc community and the tech community and I have seen some old videos from 2014-2015 about AMds apus. They seem Like a realt good budget option instead of a gpu. Why don't we se anything about apu now a days? What happened with them? All response am I greatfull for.

an 860k and a 100$ gpu is just a better value then than an APU.

They are still a good budget option for someone who doesn't play intensive games or someone who will upgrade to a gpu in the future. Don't buy a $100 gpu, the lowest end gpu worth buying is the 750ti at about 125-150$. Anything less than the 750ti is still in APU territory.

With an APU you can game most things at 720p and things like LOL on 1080.
