My PC a couple of weeks ago refused to post. All lights turn on (including those on the motherboard) and all fans (including the ones on the GPU) are spinning. This was following a period of a couple of weeks where the PC would take around 2 hours to post. I have tried my best to validate parts by trying to post without GPU and only one stick of ram (each stick in every slot configuration). I have also reset the CMOS by both taking out the battery and bridging the CMOS reset pins so is my only option now to take it in for repairs or to risk buying a new mobo and hoping that was the issue? I do not have any spare parts to help with the validation :(

Would be greatful for any responses :)

Its almost definitely your motherboard

(I honestly can't think of it being anything else)

How old is your motherboard? If its still under warranty I think an RMA might be free
