Greetings,

So after a few weeks of not playing any gtaV, i decided to play some gtaV again but i bumped into a problem (which i didn't had before): 100% usage of CPU.

This causes the game to NOT enter story mode (5 minutes of waiting and still no change) and makes doing stuff on my secondary screen impossible!

Any ideas what could be the problem and how to solve it and why it happend now and not before?

Note: i had an update of around 4/5 Gb before it all started!

Second note: without gtaV i get around 35% of CPU usage (looking into task manager).

Thank you for helping me out!

It may be a bug. Have you submitted a bug report to the developers? Explain exactly what symptoms cause the full utilization from after the update. It's a bit tedious, but it really does help the developers squash the bugs.

"Not breaking it or making it worse is key."

"Bad choices make good stories."

hmmm weird... try validating your files if you got the game through steam.
