Windows drop down menu glitch

Hi how are you guys doing?

 

So my girlfriend has this issue on her laptop that whenever she opens a menu with a dropdown menu like Windows explorer or a game with like say a dropdown to select the resolution it totally freaks out. It keeps opening and it just wont stop its like theres an auto clicker on it for some reason, at first I thought it was the trackpad buttons so I took those out and cleaned it without result. I´ve been trying to google it but it seems like no one else has this issue so I came to you guys  I hope some of you have seen this problem before and maybe know a solution. this happed to my friend's mom's laptop, I'm pretty sure it is the same problem to fix her laptop we closed it and waked it on the top
