I am an enthusiastic and not a pro

My old Configuration

1. CPU- i7 4770k

2. Mobo- Asus Maximus vi extreme

3. Ram- Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (8X4) 1600 mhz

4. GPU- Asus gtx 980 (added later)

5. PSU- Cooler Master 800 watt silent pro gold

6. Samsung Evo pro SSD 240 gb

7. Wd 3 TB

8. Corsair H110i gtx liquid cooler (added later)

9. Cooler Master Stryker Cabinet

How it got fried

I built it somewhere in 2014... During frequent fluctuations recently and UPS failure my system got fried. It starts for few seconds and shuts down while ASUS error codes keep on changing from b1 to what not. Tried using single ram, used new hdd, cleared bios, changed settings, cleaned up dirt, tried reinstalling system by formatting etc and it shuts down.So i guess i should head off to a new start

The things which still work are

Samsung Ssd, wd green 3tb, Cabinet, PSU, GPU, liquid cooler..... (i used its Ram in another system of mine),

I have kept aside the Motherboard+CPU and not going to spend more brains over it as i feel betrayed by it.

Now i am confused over which motherboard to choose with new i7 6700 as i know overclocking will end up frying my system again so i am not going for i7 6700k. Therefore I guess i need to zero down to H170 based motherboards.... But I am highly confused about which one to buy?

My main usage are

1. System is usually on for 24X7

2. Downloading softwares, games and movies

3. Using Photoshop, Video editing and sw using graphic card

4. Storing important data

Durability is important
