Unstable CPU Frequencies

The Story : Lovely/hot summer's day, CPU frequencies never gets below 23'C,

I was scrolling down a webpage in chrome and suddenly SHUTDOWN!

I noticed that the CPU frequencies dances between 1.2 to 3.9, 3-4 times in shocking 1 second! while I scroll.

And I don't think that's normal...

Temperature while browsing is 30-35'C

 

I have AMD FX-6300 stock speed, cooled by Cooler Master Hyper 212X.

Help!

Well, PC shutdowns while scrolling, and that is the time when the frequencies dances...

Replace MOBO. Or... Is this just in a particular application? Chrome for example?

Well, what I think is power consumption is high while using chrome or browsing, and it's the plague that comes with AMD CPU's.

I don't think I need to change my motherboard....

I was thinking maybe it's some weird issue with mouse inputs or VRM failing. Is it only in Chrome?v

aannn.... also happens with IE but no shutdown....

AMD CPU's are just unstable I think....

I also do 3D rendering and most of it done by CPU, and but PC shutdowns only when the voltage is low..

Now, I asked, if the dancing/randomness frequencies is normal or not?

I think the frequency jumping around is caused by a dud driver. Try a fresh install of Windows.
