The worst pc ever

build the lowest spec pc to play "minecraft" and see how much fps you get while playing "minecraft multiplayer".

when done building the pc, let someone play minecraft on that pc and see what his reaction is

I would say maybe a socket 775 Celeron on a board that supports 2GB of memory. A 250 watt POS power supply. Integrated GMA graphics. What else... Stock intel heatsink and an IDE 40GB hard drive.

I'm not sure if you quite get the joke or not.

The PC I posted is genuinely a terrible PC for playing Minecraft.

I know. I was just unsure if you got my joke or not. Judging from the reply, it sounds like you think the joke was that it's too powerful for what OP wants.

I feel like I need to completely clarify: The PC I posted will not work... For anything. The CPU and the board are physically incompatible, so the PC wouldn't even turn on.

The joke is basically that the components are all high performance, but they don't work together.

Don't worry, it was a subtle joke. I almost missed it myself.

I guess I did. Couldn't find anything funny in your post. I noticed what's the "fun" part of the build, my reaction was to how does this fit with what OP is asking, i.e. a crappy, but working, build.
