Just got a new graphics card (Zotac GTX 980Ti Amp Extreme). Says this card requires 600w min and uses around 260w at full load. Ever since I got this card my power supply gets REALLY hot. I've never had it get this hot so I'm not really sure if this is okay.

My PSU is Corsair RM Series 750w and I'm running the above card with an i5 4690k. I'm not actually sure if the heat is coming from the power supply itself or if it's from the massive amount of heat that kicks out from this card.

Sorry, forgot to include it. Corsair RM series 750w

It has a Zero RPM fan mode.  Plug in the Corsair Link cable and adjust the fan speed.

How hot is hot? Is this being measured by software, or are you getting an external temperature reading?

Make sure fans on psu are moving,,, but you should put a thermometer above your power supply for a few minutes and tell us how hot it really is getting.

I don't have any way to monitor is via software and I don't have an IR temp sensor, but by guesstimating I'd say it's around 75c~ maybe even a little more.

Then how the hell do you know it's hot? By touch? Never go by touch, it doesn't tell you anything because most safe operating temperatures for pc components feel blisteringly hot to human skin.

She's right.  Don't think things are hot in your computer just by touching them.  You're gonna need an actual reading to justify whether it's hot or not.

Alright, picked up an IR temperature reader and it's reading around 51c while the GPU's under full load

You're just fine then, nothing to worry about.
