First off, let me tell you I have NO experience with networking, so my question might be answered with a simple fix.

My Home Layout:
Main router is in the basement, connecting to the modem, and all it's other necessities.

another router in the basement (entertainment room) connected to the main router by a VERY long cord

another router in the 1st floor, used to be for the computer there, but it got moved (No purpose there now), connected to the entertainment router by VERY long cord

(All routers are Cisco 4500, or a model like that, it has no antennas.)

I want to get as much coverage as possible with my router, since the 2nd floor is where the Wifi is slowest. The wifi is coming from the main basement router, so my house is only covered in a semicircle radius. Any ways I can do this?
