First case mod: Added Red LED Strips

I finally got the motivation to add some LED strips at the top and bottom of my Corsair Carbide Air 540 case. I know RGB is more popular but I went with solid red color because it matches my K70 and the cougar case fans.

 

I used this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M92UUH0?redirect=true&ref_=ya_st_dp_summary#productDescription_secondary_view_div_1454972073003) for mounting the LED strips and make the lights look more solid.

looks nice. I dont disagree with your decision to not use rgb. usually its more expensive. If you plan to use a single color then sometimes it better to just get a single color strip.

So I should have paid twice as much for RGB LEDs and configured them to red? These were only $7 each and don't require any extra wiring to control them.

 

Sometimes I don't know why I even post here, if you don't do what everybody else does nobody likes it.

Umm. Re read my post again. I was agreeing with your decision. I daid it was dumb to get rgb to use it for 1 color....

 

In fact i actually said it was cheaper to use regular single color leds as well.

 

This is why i dont post on ltt much anymore other than the anime club.
