First Build - Forever Updating

Hey guys,

Thought I'd share a build I did back in October 2012, however I still plan on updating things that really need doing due to lack of budget back when I initially bought the parts.

The spec is as follows:

Zalman Z9
Intel Core i5-3570k running @ 4.2Ghz

Corsair H80i
Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 DDR3 Motherboard
Xigmatek Tauro Power Force 600W PSU
Samsung 840 Pro 120GB SSD

Seagate 2TB SATA3 HDD
Crucial Ballistix 4GB 1600Mhz

As you can see the ram is a little low, ideally needs 8GB minimum but 16GB ideally; also the SSD could do with changing to a larger capacity but in 2012 they weren't the cheapest of items.

I'll grab some photos of the machine when I get the SLR charged but my aim is to get the ram & SSD increased but to also add a decent graphics card.

Thanks

Apologies for the blurry photos, I can't get enough light at the moment to take some decent ones but these show enough of the build as it stands.

My biggest problem at the moment is that I've a bunch of HDD's and I'm struggling to connect them all up neatly within the Zalman case. I could also have a good go at doing some cable management within the case too, it's a mess due to a funny issue I had over the Xmas period where the system just wouldn't turn on and I just stripped it back to basic components and thankfully things started working again. I'm putting it down to Windows 10 as I have never experienced anything like that before upgrading; I'm back in Windows 7 now.

Any comments would be ace.

Thanks for looking!
