I always like reading my fail2ban alerts every morning. Not really a monitor, but useful nonetheless. I compare blacklists on different subnets to look at who's been trying to access what, but you'll need to extrapolate the data into something useful like I do to make it a valuable tool.

Haha I did that a few days ago, I was surprised how many IPs there was trying to connect to my server.

Agreed. the fail2ban listings are HILARIOUS. I also love looking at the username/password combos they attempt to use.

and THAT is why you always change from the default username and password!

ESXi SysAdmin

I have more cores/threads than you...and I use them all

zabbix for device monitoring and alerting, http://network-weathermap.com/ for network usage visualization (tied into zabbix for it's source data), Server Manager and other RSAT tools for administering Windows servers, Webmin for administering Linux servers.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

I use a custom monitoring scripts/daemons, Observium, and NodePing for network monitoring. For my non-critical servers, I have a website setup also: http://status.jgz.pw

 I'll look into these, thanks.
