Thanks man, appreciate it

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/MscvTW It's a bit over your budget, however, it's waaaaaaay more powerful.

Hi guys, I am about to buy parts and build my own PC, roughly within the £1200 budget. I want to use a MSI Gefore GTX 970, and an i7 6700k, and both an SSD and HDD, in the phantks Evolv atx case, and that's as far as I can get before all the components start to confuse me, could anyone suggest the best remaining parts to use??

thankyou in advance,

Also, what will this PC be used for? And do you have an OS? Do you plan to overclock?

It'll be used mostly for gaming, and I will buy a copy of windows 10

So, you don't need a 6700K for gaming. You could save about 100 for a GPU, which makes a bigger impact on your games.

i5 7200U @ Stock

Core2Duo T6600 @ Stock

Thankyou man!!! that's actually perfect, just another question, would using the evolv case hinder anything in any way, other than the cost? Like does it have less features, harder to build in etc.?

Nah, it will all fit! Nothing conflicts from what I can see. When you get all the stuff, be sure to post the build log in that section of Linus Tech Tips ^^
