Hey Guys.

Im quite new to handbrake and i want to build the best rig i can (under $2000) to encode video, but im having trouble with a cpu.I have been told by some that handbrake doesnt benifit from multiple cores and its higher clock speed i should go for, but others say the opposite. Is there any among you who have any experience whith what im after?

$2000 USD?

At that budget you can get a nice I7 that has many threads and a good single core performance.

You could get an i7 5820k build with that kind of budget mate.

I'd personally go for a Noctua NH-D15 or a Phanteks TC14PE over a liquid AIO.

I like that liquid cooler, but it can be used as a place holder, it is generally the most expensive cooler people will use for this, so the total wont go up.

You Guys Are Awsome. Just looked at this cpu and bought. will post my results with that cpu when it arrives..
