I'd go for the PG279Q. A 3570K will be able to handle it, provided your GPU is up to it as well.

eesh I mean cpu most of the time won't decide frame-rate unless your gpu is ballin what card do you have? and if I told ya straight I think there are better monitors for your money..... and It's really unlikely that your card will push 165 fps at 1440p but if i had to pick one i would say acer simply because asus CS is shit a lot of times and it has a 3 star rating on newegg from doa or deo/dead pixels and blb and then CS issues

i had another question for this section though, i'm going for a 980ti. which one should i pick? EVGA? MSI?
