Windows 10 User Memory Miscounts?

Go to solution Solved by FruitBasketSilex,

So I was on my task manager and mis-clicked on the "Users" tab. This brought up information about how much RAM I was using and the total % of my computer's RAM that that user is using. However, doing some maths I noticed that the percentage is not correct based upon the used RAM. This does not need any troubleshooting I just thought I'd post it here if anyone is interested.

That doesn't include things running outside of your userspace, system tasks are using up memory, making a total of 35% of your total ram, however, only 500mb is running under your userspace, the others are running under a hidden system account. (I'm talking about the outerspace, not some sneaky beaky hacker with a hidden account on your computer)

And for instance some GPUs share system memory, my MacBook has 256MB of VRAM memory but in Windows it has 512MB of memory and I have 5.75GB of system RAM  usable instead my 6GB, so my GPU takes 256MB of RAM from my system in Windows

CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 3960X | Motherboard: Intel DX79SR "Stormville" | RAM: 32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series DDR3 PC3-12800 (4x 8GB) Quad-Channel | GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 970 FTW 4GB in SLI (I have Many other builds plus 100+ Macs (don't judge me)... Many specs are listed on my profile)
