Hello,

I was working on my website today and all of a sudden I wasn't able to reach it anymore. Which is weird because everyone else can reach it, only I am not able to. So I thought there was something wrong with my computer and I ran troubleshoot from my network adapter and it said I was missing protocols. Which again is weird, because my phone won't reach the website when its on WiFi, but It will reach it when its on mobile data.

So far its only towards my personal website, I haven't encountered issues with other websites.

So Im guessing its a router issue, Im using Linksys EA4500

Any suggestions?

Built in DNS on router by your ISP?

I have no idea what that means... im really bad with networking stuff :\

A DNS server is what your internet connects to to get the IP of websites.  You don't type in the IP of Facebook, but when you type Facebook.com it goes to the DNS servers and grabs the right IP to load the site.  Your ISP DNS may not have updated your site IP yet, so try configuring it on your own.

Right click on your WiFi/LAN icon, properties.  Go to Adapters, right click the device you are using, Properties.  IPV4, then at the bottom select "Use the following DNS server addresses".

Type in 8.8.8.8 and leave subnet empty.  Save, restart router and PC, you should be good to go.

Doesn't matter...

So, I've edited registries, reinstalled network drivers, reset router settings, manually removed and installed protocols, read all over the internet from whatever sources...

Turns out, my hosting provider blacklisted my IP for "security measurements"

Thank you very much for your time though...

Even a DNS bypass doesn't work?
