GTX 970 idle temp

Hello,

 

i recently bought an MSI GTX970 OC and idle temp is about 37 degrees C. Is that normal?

To compare, my CPU(i7-4770k at stock with Cooler master T4) has 30 degrees at idle.

 

Is that normal for this GPU?

 

PS (i have a bottom(intake)+ 2 top exaust+1back exaust fan setup

That's around the idle temps of my 970, which is about 34C. I think it's normal for the GPU, but I could be wrong as my fans don't spin until 40% load.

Don't be fooled by the bottom line of my sig, that is just for my travels.

So you're telling me that Gaben is no God? Enough of your foolishness.

My hardware you ask? I'm using a Dell Inspiron 3217 Notebook... With an LG 25UM57.
