Issue: Video will go out randomly, seems like when on load.

I picked up a 40" 4K TV for the holidays to use as a monitor.  I originally had an ATI HD 5850 which I had to replace since ATI cards didn't support 4K resolution @ 60hz. I picked up a Zotac 970 and connected that to the TV via an hdmi 2.0 cable and it did run @ 60hz.  However, whenever I launched any games the video would go out.  I originally had an old 700watt PS that I ended up replacing after someone suggested that the PS wasn't supplying enough juice to the card when on load.  I picked up the EVGA 750 watt PS and also replaced the Zoltac video card for an EVGA 970 video card.  I got them both replaced and while I can game now, the video still randomly goes out.  When the video goes out, I need to power my entire computer off and back on to get the video to come back.  Sometimes the system is completely frozen and others I can still heard the audio.  I've tried 3 different versions of the Nvidia drivers.  I've also read about issues with Powermizer so I tried adding the registry keys in to disable Powermizer.  None of these seem to help and its really driving me crazy and making me contemplate scrapping this system and building a new computer.

Sorry for the long post.  Any thoughts?
