Hello, guys. I currently have an issue with my laptop that is quite impossible to ignore. I cannot do any task for a long period of time (10-15 mins of web browsing) and it shuts down after 5-10 secs after opening any game, e.g. DotA 2, CS:GO.

I'm suspecting it is an overheating issue so I went ahead and opened the laptop and replaced the thermal paste on the GPU & CPU with new ones and noticed that there is a bend on the copper of my heatsink.

(Image found online and the red circle represents the area with the bend)

Could this be the problem or is there any other problems that I should be aware of?

The heatsink is supposed to be bent slightly. Have you ran a hardware monitor to see the temps?

Here are the temps. And I think the copper is bent more than "slightly", I think. I'll take a photo tomorrow.

Temps while browsing this forum. (And Steam is open)

(I know it's ridiculously bad for idle temps but I've replaced the thermal paste and all, should I just replace the heatsink itself?)
