Have you checked out the Optoma HD25-LV?

 

It sells for $1188 with free in ear headphones and a 4GB flashdrive at BuyDig, which is a pretty reliable store in my opinion since I bought a 58" 3DTV from them nearly 3 years ago during holiday season and it arrived within 5 days with no problems whatsoever.

How about the Viewsonic PJD7820HD? It meets all your current requirements at half price ($699.99).

Optoma HD25 or BenQ W1080ST. The BenQ is a short throw projector so at short distances you get bigger images than normal, which could be ideal if you're in an apartment or something small. You could even go $100 cheaper and get the BenQ W1070 which is almost identical to the W1080 model except that it's not short throw.
