You made the USB a boot device right. It should have been made from like Media Creation Tool or something along those lines. Merely placing the ISO of windows on the USB will not work.

Intel Core i7-6700k | 2 X Gigabyte 4GB GTX 970 Overclocked Edition | 16GB (4X4GB) DDR4 2133MHz Corsair Dominator Platinum | MasterCase Pro 5

ASUS Z170 Deluxe Motherboard | 256GB Samsung 840 Pro + Seagate 2TB Storage | Corsair Hydro H80i GT | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | Corsair HX850i

That works with with some computers and some operating systems but not all of them. Especially laptops are a pain. Creating a bootable media works with all of them. MS provides a creation tool for 7 themselves. You just need a legit ISO of the installation files.

Just like @Naeaes said, you should make the USB a boot device through the Media Creation tool. That would be a safer bet and should work EVERY time. Doing what you did is ok for some PCs but not all.

You said you couldnt get into the BIOS? If you can look for USB Legacy support and enable it.
