Moving my Hard Drive
Go to solution
Solved by tbroadwater2010,
Right now I have a PC with a SSD as my boot drive and a Hard Drive as my mass storage drive with all of my games, big software ect. I am making a new PC and I already have a new drive with a fresh copy of Windows as well as a few games and software already up and running. What I want to do is take my mass storage drive from my old computer and put it into my new computer as a mass storage drive in that computer. I do not want to wipe this drive and reformat it because I have lots of software and games installed that I don't want to lose. Is there any way to do this?
Yes. Move the drive.
Yes it should be as easy as that, If its formatted as NTFS (which is probably is btw) you should be able to just move the drive and be happy with results!
