Red lines across screen

So I've been using my tv for my computer as I had to return my gw2765 due to a dead pixel. I got a brand new one today and I noticed red lines across the screen in Windows. I tested it on my tv and it doesn't show anything bad. So is it the monitor? My gpu has been fine and when I had the monitor before it was fine. Could it be a driver issue? Also it made this weird sound when I was using the monitor but it i don't know. Any reasons why? I will test it via displayport now.

Try reinstalling your drivers and if that doesn't work you should RMA the monitor.

Something interesting, it works fine on my laptop. So it must be the drivers.

Ha, figured it out, it's the hdmi cable I was using. The one included in the monitor works fine though. It's weird how the cable does it at 1440p and not 1080p tho.
