Hello, my system drive is (was) an A-Data S599 55GB SSD. Yesterday i put my computer in sleep mode, and today when i woke the system, it was unresponsive. I restarted with the reset button, as nothing else would work and then....no SSD. My system does not detect the drive, no matter what boot option (legacy, UEFI, etc) I set in the BIOS. I plugged the drive in my USB2.0 hdd case, still no luck - its red r/w indicator LED keep flashing over and over really fast. Tried plugging it in two other PC's - it doesnt detect on them either.

Now I have some really important data on it that i have only partially backed up, so its imperative that i get it working at least once again - even if it means unsoldering the NAND chips and resoldiering them on a brand new sdd of the same ssd (though that might be a tough one, as i havnt seen them on retail markets for quite some time).

Any other suggestions what can i do would be welcome !

A red fast LED flash isn't a good sign. If it isn't working in an external enclosure, it might be dead.

Yep. I think the controller is f*ed. I opened up the aluminium ssd enclosure - there are two LEDs on the SSD board. Now one lights up constanly, but the one next the Sandforce 1222 controller lights up only for a fraction of a second, and I cant find anything on the net about what can this mean.
