Displayport not "unknown"

I have an Asus PB278 monitor that has been hooked up through DisplayPort and today I went to turn on my computer and my monitor would not turn on and the monitor says "DisplayPort No Signal".  I checked AMD Catalyst Control Center and it shows the monitor but it says "unknown" instead of detecting what the monitor is.  My video card is an R9 290 and I tried downloading the newest drivers and it did nothing.  Any ideas?

Try unplugging the monitor from power for a few seconds to reset it completely.
