Microsoft Word glitching out

Hi guys

 

It looks like I'm having problems with Microsoft word. I had about 11 pages of work done on my maths assignment before I opened it the file when I got home. I did about 3 pages of work then I go to put an equation in (I'd already put in heaps before this) and the equation starts glitching. I didn't think much of it because it always happens so I scrolled up and down to see if it would go away then my document does this:

 

 

 

I closed it, then reopened it and as soon as I scroll back to pages 13/14 it glitches out again like the picture above.

 

Any help would be appreciated :D

 

EDIT: OK now, if I keep scrolling, it goes back up to page 3.

 

EDIT 2: If I start highlighting down from page 12 it doesn't glitch but if I end highlighting and start scrolling, it glitches straight away.

 

EDIT 3: It seems to be fixed. I did some clever deleting and now it's fine. I'm just gonna leave this here for now in case someone else has the same problem. Mods, feel free to delete this thread if you want
