(specs and pictures will be listed below)

So I finally finished my build (for now) and everything is fine and dandy except a few small kinks,

(1) The Bios is not seeing CPU_FAN although it is reading SYS_FAN1 and SYS_FAN2 is blank. The fans on the AIO cooler were spinning at full speed when plugged in to the pump so I used CPU_FAN and SYS_FAN1. Now they are spinning at about 50% but I would like to set up a fan profile so they only speed up when under load..

(2) The corsair AIO cooler is not being detected in device manager, nor in the registry and windows is not detecting it at all like a normal USB device.. although in the program list it shows the following.. so I'm guessing the driver IS installed, I have tried every "fix" installing corsair link like 20 times and restarting my machine more than that.., i have tried different USB headers, as well as different cables.

Corsair Hydro Series 7289 USB Device (Driver Removal)
Corsair Link
Corsair Link USB Dongle (Driver Removal)

(3) Corsair Link is only picking up the fan that the bios sees.

*NOTE* Corsair Link sees everything else BUT fans, Pump and LED's

have you installed the chipset drivers (here) as the USB support is tied to

these more so than the OS drivers. if so, you need to open an account with

corsair support here: https://corsair.secure.force.com/

create a support ticket and they'll walk through your procedure of installation.

i always install driver, before plugging the cooling system, but my crosshair

didn't like that at all. ended up uninstalling, reinstalling (rebooting each time),

power down, install USB connector to mobo and controller, reboot and then the

OS (win7) recognized the device. once found in device manager, rebooted and

then opened corsair link. then applied all firmware/software updates.
