So my TV HDMI inputs are 2.0 however I am getting squashed images (not full, 1080p, HD 3D) when viewing 1080p 3D content on my PC.

Could this be because my R9 280X is HDMI 1.4a only?

Ummmmm....

IIRC 1080p3D is two 960x1080 images or 2 1920x540 images so whatever AMD's 3D technology is isn't properly configurated.

I'm not using any AMD 3D technology just the game default technology and my TV's tech. :S

It's only on my PC that the content becomes squashed.

Care to explain please?

As I understand it the maximum 3D resolution of HDMI 1.4 is 1920x1080 24hz whereas HDMI 2.0 is 1920x1080 60hz.

Since I am runing content at 60hz the resolution drops?

That's probably your problem. 1.3 supports 1080p3D if I remember correctly.

Yes, that's what I figured. I only linked you to the article because I wasn't sure if you had 1.4 or 1.4b.
