Need help for my Ram problem

Hi guys, (not a native English speaker , sorry for any mistake)

I have bought a new PC a week ago and encounter some problem about the Ram and MOBO.

PC spec first:

CPU : intel core i-7 4790k  http://ark.intel.com/products/80807/Intel-Core-i7-4790K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_40-GHz
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16GB kit (2x 8GB) 1600 MHz Ram http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-16gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz16gx3m2a1600c10

MOBO: ASRock Z97 pro4  http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z97%20Pro4/

SSD : SanDisk 240GB SSD Plus https://www.sandisk.com/home/ssd/ssd-plus

PSU : CoolerMaster 550W blablablah ( forgot the name but 550W should be enough anyways)

OS: Not yet installed
Bios setting: MHz - Auto ( it gives me 1333 MHz )
No any kinds of OC.
All new products

So my problem is , since i have two Ram sticks, i am suppose to do dual channel so i put them into the A1 and B1 slot (Blue slots) , MOBO gives me 4 short beeps which means cant find memory or memory failed. So i change the ram to A2 B2 (Black slot) , again 4 short beeps . After that i tested the slot one by one ( single channel ) , result is that only B1 and B2 work fine and both ram stick are fine too. I went to the PC shop and asked if the MOBO have any problem and he tested it in front of me using another LGA 1150 CPU and two 1333 MHZ Ram. Result shows A1 and A2 are working fine. No bending pin in the CPU slot found.

My Question is , do the MHz affect the problem here? or are the ram just not compatible on the MOBO and the CPU? or do the Bios setting means something

I assume you've never booted the computer since it's a new build. It seems really odd that you would get a dead kit of RAM, as that rarely happens these days - but it's still definitely a possibility. If you can, test the RAM in another system which you know works to verify whether or not the kit actually works.

If it works, then it might be that your RAM is incompatible with your motherboard (which I also doubt since DDR3 has been out for so long). Flash an updated BIOS and see if that fixes the issue.

Check your motherboard manual to see if there's a specific order they want you to fill up the RAM slots.

Also, try doing a CMOS reset just for good measure. Probably won't do much but it can't hurt.

One question though - if your motherboard is giving you a memory error, how are you able to boot into the BIOS?

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

I put one Ram stick into B1, using 8GB memory , it is still possible for me to boot into BIOS.

update since i posted :

Installed Windows 10 with 8GB ram as said as above. A1/A2 still fail , i think you are right my friend, one of my ram is very unstable. When i change the RAM setting in Bios to 1600MHz which it gave me 1333 MHz as default ,i cant reboot anymore. After i changed to another RAM stick , it works as it should. i will go to the shop again and see if he have any thing to say. I cant blame him for giving me bad MOBO since he really did test it in front of me though he used 1333 MHz. It is my bad for not bring the whole pc to the shop for testing.

Anyways, thank you for your advice
