HP Pavilion 17-e102ed ! :(

What's up guys?!

 

This morning I got my hands on the HP Pavilion 17-e102ed and I promised someone I will check it out and try to fix the issue. The problem is, when I boot up, I get to the login screen in Windows 8 and my keyboard and touchpad are not responding at all. The WiFi led on the keyboard lights up, so I know the keyboard works. I also know the keyboard and touchpad both works is because I went to the recovery menu and started CMD and key & pad worked in there. Also in safe boot the keyboard and touchpad won't response. (

Go to the HP website, locate that product, find the drivers page and I'm assuming there's drivers for the keyboard and touchpad, so download those.

I already did that. Only found touchpad driver.

Problem solved. Created a backup and installed Windows 8 again.

Yeah, HP touchpads are some of the most finicky things with their preinstalled OSes on them.
