Can I (and should I) connect the main software SSD to a port that is only IDE and AHCI? My mobo has 6 ports that can be connected in raid and I'm thinking I will probably have 6 HDDs in the future setup for RAID 10 so I don't want to take up those ports.

Is this a good idea or do I need to plug the main SSD into one of the RAID ports?

Connect it to the one, that is left. Sata 6Gbit is enough for SSD. AHCI is just a Controller, so dont worry about performance.

I successfully hacked 127.0.0.1! Now I cant turn on my computer :/
