Would the lower clock still clock to the amount an average gpu would like evga's Superclocked cards

It will be more difficult to obtain the clock. From 1.0 GHz to 1.18 GHz is an insane jump on an air cooler without literally days of testing for stable clocks.

Keep in mind the silicon lottery still applies. The manufacturer will only guarantee that the product is stable at its factory clocked out-of-the-box setting. You can end up with a higher factory clocked chip that refuses to go any higher.

okay thats what i thought was going on, so should i just opt for the LE since its 20$ less? i wont be overclocking until i get a 1440p g sync pannel, so it wont matter at the start anyways
