AT2020 + Phantom Power Help

Ok, so I am planning to purchase the AT2020 and a Phantom Power supply, the power supply has an input where the microphone plugs in and an output, which is, well you guessed it... the output. I was wondering if a XLR to quarter-inch jack cable will work if plugged into the output, I know it won't work if plugged directly into the microphone. BTW, before you say just get the USB AT2020, I need a quarter inch jack output.

You shouldn't have any problem if you connect the output from your power supply to the audio jack.

I'm just not 100% sure how much you need to amplify the signal and if that soundcard would destroy the quality anyways.
