Just in case you didn't know, they are both advertised as 500Mbps, but you'll never exceed 100Mbps between any two device. That's because they use standard 10/100 Mbps ethernet ports. And then it gets worse the longer the (power routing) distance between each adapter. If that's not fast enough, get a kit with Gigabit ports.

Powerline networking suffers with old and/or bad power cabling in the house. And remember never to put then on or behind a surge protector or UPS.

The trendnet says it uses 10/100/200 Mbps

Which would you choose?

Personally I wouldn't buy anything right now that isn't rated "HomePlug AV2" ( the latest standard for powerline) with gigabit ports. The reason I say this is AV2 added the ability for the units to communicate over the ground wire along with the hot and common wires, and therefore you can get better speed, lower latency, and lower packet loss. I have 4 Zyxel PLA5215 units (2 kits of 2) and they are working great.

That is very useful info, thank you for letting us know. Never knew they were doing that with powerline now-a-days. Then again, I don't keep too much up to date on it. Hopefully, I can keep this stored in my brain long enough to be useful if I ever come across a situation where I may need it. I used powerline before a few years ago, but only as a temp solution.
