First time overclocking my CPU, is this normal?

Hey everyone,

 

I have a 5930K clocked at 4,4ghz stable and it works great. However, I am worried about something.

 

In programs like Realtemp, CPU-Z and ASUS's AI SUITE 3, the clock speed moves from 1500mhz to 4375mhz almost constantly. Is this normal or should I be worried? See these screenshots: http://i.imgur.com/xXsfxJm.jpg and http://i.imgur.com/sU3ijPR.jpg 

 

Any ideas on if this is normal? And if it's not, how to fix it?

Thats normal, when im idling my i7 goes to like 4ghz but under any load goes to 4.94 where my OC is set to, your all good man nothing to worry about.

Sounds like a power consumption reduction type thingy. Sorry to get so technical

As long as it stays at 4.4 GHz under actual load, you're good.

First off all, thanks for all the quick replies, it really is very much appreciated!

 

I'm glad that it's probably okay. Like Arokhantos says, the voltage fluctuates pretty much constantly too, form the max 1.25 to around 0.288 or something like that. I still shouldn't be worried, right?
