So I'm trying to get a new graphics card for my computer since my current one is on its way to death rowe, and I was looking into getting a AMD Radeon R7 360 and was wondering if it would work with my motherboard. It's called a Pegatron IPISB-CH2 from HP. I tried replacing the card already but the card wasn't working with the motherboard. I know it's not the power supply since we replaced it with a much better one, I think it was a 650W. Anyway this last card didn't work at all on my mobo but it worked perfectly on my friend's computer. I was wondering if this card would end up doing the same?

Yes but it's a wierd little thing. It's an AMD Radeon 6670, but my friend has my computer reading it as a 5570 because it's misrendering and doing this actually helped keep it under control, otherwise our GPU would be useless. As it is, it still does crap like this. http://tiny.cc/ase4yx

This card i tried to replace it with was a r9 270x, but it was used so I don't know... Also, the 270 worked perfectly on my friends computer. Don't know if I said that

Did you protect it from static? Usually, as long as you have a PCIe port and a PCIe GPU, they work together. It doesn't matter if it's a GTX 980Ti and an OEM PC from like 2008. It will perform slightly slower, but you won't notice it.

I have a Packard Bell iXtreme M5800 from 2010 and I'm about to put a GTX 750 in it. It currently has a GT 330. If I had the money, I could get a 1500w PSU and a GTX Titan Z to put in there, and it would work. Now, 6GB of RAM, an i5 650, and a Titan Z (dual Titan Black GPU) isn't the best combo, but a 270x or 360 should work fine.

The 270x clearly isn't dead if it works in your friend's PC. Try it again and see if it still works in it.

Maybe you just forgot to plug in a cable, or didn't slot in the cards correctly. I wouldn't blame you. I spent hours raging over my DVD drive (which I stole from the GT 330/GTX 750 rig to use in my new main) not working in my main. It turned out that I hadn't connected the SATA cable properly.
