Hey, I recently installed new fans in my NZXT H440 case. But they seem to be making a whirring noise.

Would this be because they're running at max speed (as they are plugged into the fan hub in the back of the case)? Or is it to do with the airflow of the case?

did you make sure the fans were screwed in tightly, it could be one or more of them vibrating. or it may be the fan(s) themselves

If they are all plugged into Molex rather than 3/4 pin adapters, they will run at full speed all the time - or try @JebKerman's solution!

I opened my case and found that the hub doesn't have any settings. However, I noticed that the Noctua fans came with "Silent " adapters, so I've used these and they are much quieter, though there still is a little bit of noise. But that might be another component in the case...

For reference, I'm using 2 Noctua F-A14 FLX in the front of the case and a NF-P14S-1200 at the back.
