Hey guys, I have some money left over from my birthday. (Roughly £150 or $234) which I am looking to spend on some much needed computer parts, I don't know if it is me but my computer just takes sooo long to load programs like Skype and Steam from startup. I currently DO NOT have an SSD, but this is one of the items I will be looking to purchase and would appreciate any recommendations.

Whether it is the case of myself saving up some more money, feel free to let me know. I would just like to get to the point where I can live stream on Twitch and record Gaming videos for a YouTube channel.

My CURRENT PC specs are listed below:

I was told that overclocking my CPU was a good idea instead of upgrading to a higher version of the i5 branch.

I had a look at this aftermarket cooler. - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2

But I also need help whether to go for a water cooler or air cooler?

I don't really know where to go from here, so I ask for your help on rec commended parts to buy, I know I am on a very tight budget but its all I have at the moment xD

Thank you for reading!

Sandy bridge was so easy to overclock don't need to spend much to get 4.5ghz plus. What's your budget for a cooler?

Willing to spend anywhere between £50-£100 for a good water cooler, a bit less if I choose to go with an air cooler :)

You said about Sandy bridge, so if I got a good aftermarket cooler, I could overclock my Intel Core i5-2500K?

No need in water cooling, unless u go into making a custom loop (which would cost u from 300$ just for simple cpu loop).

2500k is a nice overclockable cpu.

Imo, I would stick to ssd and cpu cooler (like CM 212), then saved like 1.5-2k pounds for completely new build.

Ok sweet, so does a cooler master air cooler sound decent?

Sounds good, any recommendations?

Liquid AIO: CoolerMaster Seidon 120mm Cooler / CoolerMaster Nepton 240mm Cooler / Corsair H75/H80/H100i/H110i

Air Cooler: Noctua NH-D14, Or BeQuiet! Dark Rock Pro 3

SSD: Intel 530 Series, Kingston Hyper X 240GB 3K

They're recommendations, At good value/performance.

So I have been looking around, will the Corsair H80i Liquid Cooler be compatible firstly with the Cooler Master HAF 922 case I have? And will it also fit my motherboard, the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard, along with my processor? The Intel i5 3570k CPU is the processor I have, I mistaked this for the 2500k. My apologies.

I will be purchasing the Samsung EVO 850 120GB SSD :)
