can you tell me for what is :

CPU 1

CPU 2

VGA 1-4

PATA

and I have MSI GTX970 so do I have to connect the cable to the CPU or VGA  ?

Please and thank you

CPU 1 and CPU 2 are for the 4/8 pin cpu connectors. This is usually located at the top left/right of the motherboard.

MB is for the 24 pin motherboard connector near your ram slots.

VGA 1-4 is for the graphics cards

SATA is for Serial ATA drives such as SSD, Hard Drive, Optical drive etc

PATA isn't used anymore (assuming it is Parallel ATA). Those were used on the old type hard drives which used those wide ribbon cables.

You connect the GTX 970 to VGA.

Both of the CPU plugs are for the 8pin CPU plug, this is if you are running dual physical CPUs, the PATA should be for the Sata ports. But that one sound like one of the PSU specific ports.

Look on the manufacturer's website.
