$800-1000 PC Help

Hello, I've recently been considering building a PC, but I've had a lot of trouble choosing the right parts.

I have come up with this, but I cannot find the best way to lower the price, and I want all of your suggestions, as I don't think this will do very well.

I plan on gaming, and game development @1080p.

You can get a M-Atx case and Mobo if you don't need the extra PCI expansion slots.

why suggest a Xeon?

Cheaper than an i7, with basically the same performance without onboard graphics.

Edit:

You can always get an i5, although game development may benefit from hyper-threading.
