Intel 750 Series SSD

Go to solution Solved by ImBleu,

AFAIK

any PCIE 3.0 (4x) slot will work. So yes.

So I was thinking about getting the Intel 750 Series 400GB SSD to put my OS and some games on but I was just wondering if I could even put it on my motherboard because I had never heard of the PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 socket before.

I have the Asus Maximus Hero VII Hero Motherboard.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Bangflop May need a bios upgrade to support NVME..

Unless you have many people connecting to this at the same time it's really not a good investment for a general or even a power user.. New GPU may be better way to go..
