Hi! I have been looking for a while now, but I'm not very experienced with finding the motherboard and processor I need/want.

In the near future I'm looking to build my own PC, but I've come to a stand still.

I do however know what I need:

- Motherboard

> At least 4 SATA3 Ports

> PCI 3.0

> 4 RAM Slots

> At least 4 I/O USB 3.0 Ports

> Bios with ability to enable hot swapping for specific drives

So I can create a backup button found here:

- CPU (I have allays used Intel but am happy to try new things [AMD])

> Preferably 6 Cores because I use programs like Adobe After Effects CS6, Adobe Illustrator CS6, and Photoshop CS6 allot.

> Doesn't need to be able to overclock but have wanted to try doing it and if possible will in the future.

Thanks in Advanced! If you need more information leave a reply and ill update the thread with it. :)

No hurry, as this wont be needed right away.

cheapest x99 u can find and the 5820k if you need six true cores.

if i were you i would get a 4970k its 4 cores and 8 threads. its an amazing cpu and you don't need to sell your kidneys buy it.

i wish i could recommend amd right now but i cant. they really let me down with their FX line up. they arent up to standards and are being beaten by 3 generation mid tier cpus.
