Quick question about windows licenses

I have a now dead laptop and I can salvage the hard drive from it (500gb wd blue 2.5 inch I think)

It has a sticker with the windows license and code on it (win 7 home premium) and with windows 10 coming up I am thinking that the preview will shut down and be useless,

 

Can I get that windows license, download a home premium (64-bit ofc) iso and use the license key on that?

you can activate that on another pc and use phone activation

Technically no, OEM licenses are 1 time use only, but you do have the option of calling them during the activation process, tell them you installed it on "zero" computers, and they'll activate it for you.
