Asus k53SV Mouse Issue

Hi Guys,
I had sent my laptop to have a motherboard fixed up under third part warranty and every time they have sent it back to me the mouse buttons don't work. On this particular mohterboard the left and right click are directly soldered on. They keep claiming its due to a faulty cable that connects the trackpad to the motherboard. They also informed me that they didn't test out a known working cable to make sure.

From a logiacal stand point i don't believe these would be true and since they are on the motherboard they would be controlled seperatly to the actual track pad that is connected by ribbon cable.

If any one could verify about the cable causing the left and right click not to work that would be good as it would back up what i have informed them. Unfortenatly i don't have a cable to use to test it.

P.S sorry if the sentence structure is out i am in a little bit of a rush and don't have time to re-read over it.
