ASUS MX27AQ

Hey guys as the topic suggest , is the ASUS MX27AQ any good ?

 

Its 1440p with a decent responce time (5ms) and ips, and currently around 600$ in my country. 

 

Purpose will be pure gaming only. 

 

If anyone can suggest a better IPS 1440p monitor in this range it would be great

There's literally nothing else at that price range that's IPS and 144hz. Only other 1440p IPS 144hz is $800 and G-sync. There's a couple weird Korean overclock-able ones out there, but don't count on them.

 

EDIT: Got my monitors mixed up! If you could give your country of residence, that'll help.

I'm not sure what's available in whatever country you live, but the ASUS PB278Q and BENQ GW2765HT are worth a look for price comparisons. Here in the U.S. the ASUS MX27AQ is more expensive than either of those.

Yes. 1440p, and 27".

The BenQ one has a lot of input lag though so isn't very good for gaming.

The Asus has 16.6 total lag which = 1 full frame of lag. This moved it from a class 1 gaming monitor to a class 2. See full analysis here. The BenQ is 24ms detail here
