try plugging a USB stick into the port, if it works, the port was unaffected

i plugged in my mic into the USB port of my computer with damp fingers, and i got zapped (although it didnt hurt that much, and only the tip of my finger was affected), is this whats supposed to happen, or should i be worried about the computers USB ports (if anyone wants to know i used USB 3.0)

 

EDIT : also, when i touch them now, with dry fingers, nothing happens
