how do i upgrade if it won't let me upgrade?

 

I tought you meant regular updates, not the full upgrade.. Then you may have to rollback to a previous release or try to update from an ISO.

Does this happen instantly, as soon as you tell it to update, or does it download and install something, reboot, and THEN tell you something went wrong? Are you using the latest windows 10 build?
